okokok but can i just sob over the KAEYA and hakuno dynamic real quick I LIKE THEM SM T__T it's so neat for them to have someone they can truly be open with even though they may not know just how to be open, hell yes!!!!!and i like how it's not all sunshine and rainshows, it's simultaneously both a relieving yet unnerving experience for them because they're just. not used to it! they have a really funky dynamic methinks but i'd say it's good for them to have that! i really think they can be someone to rely on for support but also someone that won't be afraid to call them out give them that necessary push when things go a lil tough. overall i'd think they'd really help each other grow a lot! anddd maybe even find themselves, maybe :,) i need u to know that the khaenri'ah stuff is a whole nother thing to get into bUT I'M VERY 👀👀 AT IT OKOKOK the topic of home would be another theme with these two hoho and i'd be excited to explore that too!!! i'm just constantly vibrating as i think of them okok -I EAT MY HANDS-

i also Need you to know that hakuno's as genuine as can be but she's the kind that "lies" because she's so bad at understanding herself — the type to say she's fine when she's not! legitimately not trying to hide anything, she's forcing herself and convincing herself that she's fineee which is why i think it'd be neat for kaeya to be able to look through that too!! hakuno being able to look past kaeya's "lies" and kaeya being able to look past hakuno's "truth".... :chinhands: HIM HELPING HER OUT WITH HER IDENTITY IS MAKING ME SOB BTW 😭💖 prepping myself for Pain tho bc- hakuno's entire arc of finding herself is sadd. real quick talk about it here here: a huge motivation for her was always about finding herself. she doesn't see any worth in herself, doesn't know her place in the world and she really just has nothing. being an amnesiac sucks but that gave her the hope of finding those answers once she remembers but yeaaaah-

ultimately she finds out that there was nothing at the start and she's just a nobody with nothing,, so it's a very crushing revelation, as you can imagine :,) her outward reaction to it hurts too bc she's dying on the inside but on the outside she's just *trying to hold herself together and keep calm* doesn't cry or say anything because hakuno's the sort to just bottle it in and suppress all her pain to the point where she just feels numb SO YES PLS HOLD HER HAND THROUGH IT KAEYA SHE WOULD NEED IT SM 😭😭 she'd cry if he did which you'd think is a bad reaction but no, she should!!! i think i mentioned alr how she's the type to cry alone so yes pls let her be comforted and open about her vulnerablities for a change 🙏 and with her and kaeya's whole underlying thing being their conflict abt identity it'd just be so perfect methinks??? IDK THE DETAILS BUT I JUST KNOW I WOULD SOB AND LOVE IT SM 😭💖

AND ABOUT THE DARKNIGHT HERO STUFF OH MY GOD AGFKSHFKSBFNSB they need to talk about it in front of diluc methinks. THEY NEED TO. hakuno's figured out who that diluc is the darknight hero so she's not going to fangirl gush on main, but she doesn't know that kaeya knows methinks, so if he's insulting the darknight hero? it's just banter between brothers sgjfhsjd but hakuno's there liKE >:T which is just going to amuse kaeya and embarrass diluc even more methinks HFKDHFJDJSHD

oh my god but i'm gonna have to apologise to DILUC for this because this girl is just. honesty hours always and is not going to sit still if anyone slights the darknight hero LIKE- SOME RANDOM DRUNK PATRON COULD JUST BE CALLING HIS NAME CHEESY AND SHE'D BE >:TT "the alcohol is clearly clouding your head... hmph, the darknight hero would never show such an embarrassing display because he—" stops herself from saying he doesn't like alchohol. "—is surely a responsible citizen and drinker and would know when to call it quits..!" (<- ends up lecturing the drunkard on how they should drink responsibly and asks if they can walk themself home properly bc that's just how hakuno is) (but not before she tells them that they can tell her just how cool the darknight hero's name when they're sober-) but also imagine that while escorting that person back, hakuno just tells them abt all her experiences with the darknight hero and the next time they drop into the tavern they're just like TT___TT THE DARKNIGHT HERO IS SO KIND!!! SO COOL!!! ✨️✨️✨️

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE THOO the hero aspect would be hella neat to explore with (and this obviously would apply for your mha muses ofc!!) because the reason hakuno admires heroes so much is because- she has a terrible view of herself and thinks of herself as horribly selfish, so she really admires those who selflessly fights and does their best for others! she's kind of a hypocrite like that, but hakuno is different from a hero because while she does share the same kind and selfless nature, she's more motivated by her own personal values and the people she strongly cares about. it's also her making up for her self-perceived flaws!! there's a lot of her issues involved ahfkshdh bUT YEAH THIS MAKES ME THINK- hi diluc is the darknight looking for a sidekick haha.. asking for a friend--

sHE'S NOT GONNA SAY IT LIKE THAT BUT LIKE 🥺 a moon lady would offer to help in those gruelling nights.... she'll do her best!! it's also fun too because of that same goal but differing motivations :thonk: and that's more reason for hakuno to want to get to know diluc!! would also gives him the chance to find out that she's a little (a lot) more troubled than what her strong stoic front may appear to be... AND OH MAN OH BOY LONELINESS IS SUCH A HUGE THEME 4 MY HAKUNOO but hi omg hello i am now thinking about diluc's whole reputation as the uncrowned king of mondtsadt.. him being held in high esteem while hakuno's more of the opposite... a nobody that's looked down down :chinhands: but they're both just lonely ppl underneath!! so big yes to them chatting whenever and wherever :,) even if it's just small talk she'd enjoy it a lot!

thinking about CHILDE just makes me facking hurtttt agfksgjf THAT HC HURTS SO MUCH BTW CHARLIE I'M SOBBING?? she really would've gotten along with ajax 😭 but also hi, i would really want to have hakuno see the way childe is towards his family and how he was at his story quest with teucer because thaat's just gonna complicate ber thoughts on him even more!! i think she'd want to dislike him,, would obviously be extremely hurt by a betrayal and being used but GOD SHE REALLY IS THE PERFECT PERSON TO BE USED HONESTLYY hakuno's the type to blame herself!! would beat herself up for being used like that and beats herself up some more for wanting to still spend time with him 😭 hakuno by default has always been lonely.. what experiences she has is her being belittled/insulted/looked down on, so you can see why she'd be so desperate for a positive relationship! is also the type to repress and ignore her own wants and needs, which just ends up in a very deep and repressed longing deep down... it's not even anything outrageous, she just wants those normal average things like friends and to live a happy life so like!!

me thinking about childe gifting her this candy she was eyeing at- she has a major sweet tooth ok!! but also, is so bad at understanding herself, she didn't even know she wanted it. so for childe to notice and get her that, she'd be more touched and grateful at the act rather than the gift itself 🥲 SO YEAH THAT JUST MAKES THE BOMBSHELL THAT MUCH MORE PAINFUL TOO AND I HATE IT (LOVE IT) i want them to talk about bonds tho... hakuno's a simple person!! her nature is literally stated to be "pure and innocent" and i think i mentioned how she's pretty awkward despite appearing so put together and elegant- but the world is hella complex! people can be cruel and relationships are just hard </3 still thinking about his warning about her heart btw...... that shook me to my core!!!! makes me wanna maximize the pain tho... seeing how observant and "understanding" he is,,, maybe some day, Some Day, hakuno could reach her limit break down a lil in front of him idk!! all her frustrations and complex feelings bursting out mayhaps 💃💃 her just asking what she did wrong,, why she's just being used and abandoned and why she'll always end up alone,,, at that point she's just venting tbh SHE HAS A LOT OF ISSUES OKIE IM SORRYYY </3

but yea childe to hakuno is just Confusion and pain galoree !! hakuno already has a very natural want to understand others, but i think she'd def want to know what tf childe was feeling with all of this ^_T it'd be extra hurtie if this happened on a separate verse from diluc or kaeya or hell, even with al haitham- because hakuno hates being used or play into someone's grand scheme! but at the same time, she's so grateful to have someone notice her and offer her a "friendship" when she's never had her wants and desires noticed by others and diminishes it herself 😭 gsbdakchsjfhs iT'S JUST TOUGH!!! can imagine her just bluntly asking him if he even cares about her or their "friendship" if he offer her anything after that bombshell :,) much pain,

OKOK LET ME HEAL MYSELF AFTER ALL THAT SGFKSHDJSJ ohh BENNETT 🥺🥺 PLS!!! THAT FAMILIAL DYNAMIC WOULD BE SO SWEETT 😭🙏💖💖 hakuno has a soft spot for anyone younger than her and bennett's sunshine-like aura (read: Wholesome Vibes) would endear him to her instantly. they'd be like that kid who gets into all sorts of trouble (benny's bad luck.... F) and his cool and quiet older sister— only yeah, despite the elegant ladylike image, she's pretty clumsy herself! my geographic knowledge of monstadt is failing me rn but he could ask hakuno about her darknight hero encounters and she'd tell him all the deets! then proceeds to get the realization of huh that's terrible actually. am i that clumsy? slam into her like a 999mph mitachurl and just. proceeds 2 repeatedly bang her head against a wall in embarrassment (<- something she canonically did too btw GDFFSHDJGDB)

ooh and i wanted to make a post about this but adding to hakuno's doll-like motif! her skin's porcelain and perfect, has no scars or anything no matter what kind of injuries she gets into. it's perfect to the point where it's unnatural, makes her seem hardly human to others (andd ahaha she's not) and adds to the alienation she feels wherever she goes. she always feels like an outsider :,) tHE POINT OF ME SAYING THIS THO!! i feel like her and bennett are both the type to not care about what happens to them and fuss over others instesd so 🥺 them being like that to each other mayhaps,, (that fact about her is also why she's Extra reckless and has 0 concerns for herself, she's already a very self-sacrificing person but this just enables it to an unhealthy extent tbh-) anddd on the topic of health!! she's also very unhealthy in that aspect-- often skips/forgets meals so that charred egg would be very appreciated and needed!!! 💪 hope bennett likes sweets because i can imagine her giving em to him with a pat to the head ✨️

SHE'D ABSOLUTELY BE SO DAMN SUPPORTIVE OF HIM!!! absolutely believes in bennett's adventure team and would join herself if it weren't for her not-an-adventurer status! you know that one dynamic of sunshine and sunshine protector? that's absolutely bennett and hakuno respectively. i remember this one rude ass adventurer in his hangout event that was mean to bennett and hakuno would Not stand for that attitude, he's gonna be scolded so bad!!! aww the trinkets from his adventures are gonna be cherished sm btw 🥺 hakuno doesn't have much (literally a nobody with nothing huh 😭) so she'd really appreciate it! if she has a secure place to live, she'd put em up for display because she'd like em so much <3 also pls consider hakuno going on a hunt for a four leaf clover for him !! and pls know that if lady luck was real she'd beat her up for giving bennett such horrible luck fr fr-

I REALLY LOVE THE LOGIC VS EMOTION ASPECT OF HAKUNO SO LIKE her and AL-HAITHAM would be hella neat methinks!!! i feel like they could have this weird alliance because they do have the same goal — to understand hakuno, but they don't necessarily have the same idea and intent. which is also hella neat!! just as he's curious about hakuno (tho more on the logical side of how she is i think), hakuno would be curious about him too (but on the emotional side of things!) hakuno can be pretty blunt as well but al-haitham takes it to a whole nother level methinks- hakuno's got thick skin but hit her where she's weak and 😬😬 she would be Weakkk. BITES MY HAND makes it me wonder wtf's gonna happen at the reveal bc yeah it's interesting to the observer, but actual "person" going thru it hakuno is 😭 not having a good time!! it's the support from the ppl who care about her regardless is what helped her accept in and not be completely mentally fucked up so like!! :chinhands: what would happen with this pair i wonder.......

WANT 2 SEE EM WORK TOGETHER IN STUFF THO LMAO they could bicker a lot methinks 🤼‍♂️ hakuno's hella patient and understanding tho and most of all, she wants to get along. she'd want to be friends tbh 😭 pls befren her she lonely...... hIM LOSING HER IN A BAZAAR IS ABSOLUTELY KILLING ME BTW SGJJDGEJD sir!!! she's 160cm/5'3 tiny lady!!! UR NEVER GONNA FIND HER ONCE U LOSE SIGHT OF HER 😭 /J okay but also, i can imagine her being the one to lose him too because she got distracted when she saw a lost child. cue her entire side quest of helping that child return to their parents! and at the end of it, she gently reminds them that the bazaar is really crowded so they shouldn't wander off away from their parents n_n ............. and then 0.1 seconds later, she realizes that she has indeed wandered off away from al-haitham (hakuno vc Hm.) he's really tall so she'd have an easier time finding him, probably 😭

OH AND HER ATTITUDE WOULD BE SO DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHO LOST WHO. if alhaitham lost her cuz he forgor then she'll be pouting the rest of the day bye- later holds onto a part of him out of spite tbh !!! would deadass loop their arms like the most goofy ahh duo 😭😭 and if he gives her a look or seems peeved by it?? Good because that's her intention :stoicsmughakuno: but if she's the one who lost him then her attitude would be soooo different sgfkhsf apologises profusely and asks if he was alright and all,, probably holds onto his cloak thing next time they go somewhere crowded which does sucessfully prevent him from losing her as well! only, hakuno is hakuno and next time she comes across anyone in need of help, the only difference is that she'll just be dragging al-haitham along in that side quest ✨️

👫 but like- looks at all the possible dynamics we've brought up. looks at u. SGHDGDJS THIS IS JST ME WANTING TO HEAR UR THOUGHTS ON ANY OF EM TBH 😳✨️✨️

okay so let me just like write a little something for everyone then dfkjdsfk

KAEYA: Kaeya gets to go first because we’ve talked the most about them but honestly like Hakuno is one of the few people he’s good to be around without the show??? because she sees through it anyway and sometimes its too much and sometimes he needs to not be around her because then he doesn’t feel like an entire lie but sometimes its just relieving to not have to be what’s needed of him and just be y’know? And Hakuno’s good for that. Also he’ll help Hakuno work out her own identity using all his contacts and he’s going to be there to hold her hand if it turns out to be something they couldn’t have imagined. He’s protective of her, he’s scared of her and has a whole host of other feelings as well. Doesn’t get her deal with Diluc though and WILL tease her about her superhero having to swoop in to save her while lowkey / highkey insulting Diluc depending on whether he’s listening.

DILUC: Diluc, as The Darknight Hero, might seem exasperated by his swooping in to deal with whatever Hakuno has gotten herself involved in, but he doesn’t mind all that much. It is nice to feel appreciated when she thanks him for his work, and really it makes a change from the more gruelling nights of chasing the abyss order. I think unconcsciously Diluc resonates with Hakuno’s loneliness and though his is of his own making, he defintiely finds himself chatting to her at the bar/wherever they encounter each other. When she compliments The Darknight Hero in Angel’s Share he has to do his best not to show himself to be flustered, but he does go quiet.

CHILDE: Childe thinks if he was just Ajax still then maybe they could have been friends. But he’s not Ajax and she’s got information he needs. Because of that, he’s gentler than he may have otherwise been in the way he lets her down and reveals his manipulations, but in someway his kindness is crueler. Despite that he’ll still greet her after its happened, still offer spars and dinner, because well this is him she can take it or leave it. He’ll offer to spar with her if that will eliminate the bad feeling for her. Childe before the reveal is an attentive friend, he’ll buy her little gifts he’s seen her eyeing up from weeks ago, recall pieces of information she told him over dinner etc. It just makes it hurt all the more when he drops the bombshell. And he doesn’t stop being attentive after, either, but there’s a new light on it that shows how well he studies his targets tbh.

BENNETT: oh man he finds Hakuno so soothing. She doesn’t get mad at him when his luck messes up her day. She’s kind to him and she’s honestly a bit prone to disaster herself (he’s heard stories of her being saved by The Darknight Hero at least). She feels encouraging and welcoming and he treats her like his big sister. He’ll make her (charred) eggs and try to bring her trinkets from his adventures (that usually end up lost, broken or an injury to himself for the attempt) but his heart is in the right place and he still has a story for her at the end of it.

AL-HAITHAM: He’s a complete ass to Hakuno a lot of the time. Logic vs emotional go head to head constantly. He can’t deal with the emotional outputs so will just get his book out and read to ignore her. He can be insensitive in his chase for truth and does not always realise the impact of the revelations their discovering on Hakuno (foolish man, it is her life) Hakuno deserves to get mad at him constantly for this. Also because Al-Haitham often forgets to clue her in on his thought path, and in the middle of them walking through a bazaar will just disappear walking off to chase a lead and forgetting to pull her along.

GILGAMESH: if i’m honest idk what this dynamic would be like beyond Gil is Gil and Hakuno is dealing with it but you mentioned something about Hakuno summoning him and getting along with him and I like that vibe for them. Or you know giving them a little bit of pain with him not being the version she summoned and while he’s not entirely different he’s different enough and she still has to build that bond again. I imagine there’s a lot of teasing involved on his part but actually its thinly veiled approval.

ACHILLES: He’s going to be encouraging Hakuno to try new things and I think they encourage each other into chaos from fun. At the same time the more Achilles is around Hakuno the more she chips away at the armour, the more she sees behind the dudebro because at heart he is emotionally driven, just as she is, and there’s only so long he can keep up his guise. He doesn’t cope well with being called out by her for pretending and will go off on his own and comes back with a new escapade, but slowly over time she’ll chip away enough he can confide in her.

ROBIN HOOD: Feels understood by Hakuno more so than other people so he’ll spend time around her (unless she’s telling him things like another version of him trying to kill her in a way that lacks honour and then he’s off to brood somewhere). nothing and the faceless is just an interesting dynamic to me and I think there’s a lot to explore. At the same time, I want Robin to invite Hakuno to the archer card game and for them to spend early mornings / late nights talking about things that are either important and vulnerable or ridiculous and almost nonsensical.

MAKOMO: Makomo makes Hakuno flower crowns every time she visits her. She’ll also braid flowers into Hakuno’s hair if Hakuno will let her. She’s soft and gentle and constantly ethereal, offering advice to Hakuno when she needs it and sitting quietly and listening to her otherwise. Makomo would ask her things like “Well who do you want to be?” when Hakuno talks about identity/lack thereof and encourage her to seek it but not stress over it. Makomo takes the approach that Hakuno is her friend, and that’s all she needs to know. Any flowers Hakuno gives her are kept so safe and treated so preciously. Makomo also asks her to tell her stories about the world.

TANJIRO: Well firstly, here’s Tanjiro’s fate verse for you because I haven’t used it yet and I think it would be neat for them to interact in it. They’re sweet and so lost, they’re like a servant but still trying to work out what their deal is. They definitely take to Hakuno though and they’ll make food for her, and ask her to help them learn more about being a servant. Also they could talk about identity because she has none but they have two being both Tanjiro and Sumihiko.

EIJIROU: Eijirou’s the type who would just start talking to her. Maybe he catches the lonely vibes on a patrol for his internship, maybe he spots her on a day off, maybe he rescues her on a mission, whatever it is, he’s going to start speaking. He’s personable and he definitely is a lot better at reading emotions than he lets on. HE WILL CALL HER MANLY and catch that vibe, he will invite her to train with him when he’s going for jogs or drop by to see her regularly so he feels like he’s doing something to help her be less lonely. If he ever has to miss a meeting he’ll send a note with a friend until they eventually trade numbers for ease.

SHINSOU: Met Hakuno in a cat café when he was avoiding UA after the Sports Festival. Stressed about not being part of the hero course, wanting to follow his dream but not able to do so. He’s not expecting to talk to anyone, but either something a cat does makes them both laugh or he nearly stumbles into her and they end up becoming friends. She’s encouraging in the way he needs and he feels like he can talk to her and his quiet presence makes him someone easy to talk to as well. He makes regular visits to the same café after that so they can bump into each other. She’s one of the first who finds out about his transfer to the hero course.

NAOMI: Naomi is cool and collected but also calm and reassuring. She’s logical but not in the Al-Haitham way so she’ll give Hakuno space to voice her feelings and choose the best course of action between both of their ideas. This is your girlboss detective duo who work in different ways between the two of them they’ve got a lot of areas covered. A lot of respect between them I like to think.
